Nobody bothers me anymore Those days have passed, not like before… When time could stand still and I felt the thrill of Knowing I was adored. Nobody bothers me with a kiss, A sweet embrace, such unknowing bliss. Day after day, my heart will replay, Those tender moments I miss. If I could I’d break this spell Get back up from where I fell, But I am learning. Love it comes and love it goes. I’ll move on yet this I know This, I know… Nobody bothers me anymore I’m moving on, closing that door. Those are the days my heart can replay, But I won’t mourn them anymore.

Tell me a story, Shade me from the sun. Let my tears inside you, Like water they come. Play me the music Of bright autumn leaves. I know the melody because I planted the seed. And I’ll wait for you in fall, ‘til your branches are bare. Through cold winters And lush springs, Into summer’s heavy air.

You know I could have been something. I could have gotten out of this town. Folks told me I had talent, They said I had a real nice sound. Opportunity used to knock on my door, But lately, I haven’t seen her around. I see you looking at me, Yeah you think I look real good. I see you looking at me, Yeah, and I know I look good. ‘Cause with as many drinks as you’ve had honey, I should hope that I would! I’ve seen your kind before, You’re just passing through. You’ve got places to be And you’ve got big dreams, too. You might like what you see, But don’t bite off more than you can chew! You don’t wanna kiss these lips. They taste like coffee and broken dreams. No, you don’t wanna kiss these lips, They taste like coffee and broken dreams. You’ll be drowning in the ocean baby, When you thought you were takin’ a dip in a cool stream.

Keep Movin' 03:27
I think you think that you know me. I think you think that I wanna be your baby, But no man, I don’t wanna be your baby. (So please) keep movin’, ‘cause you will never get me. I think you think you can save me. the path’s been rough, so you can sweep me off my feet. No man, you don’t know half of my story. So keep movin’ ‘cause you will never save me. I think you think you can play me. Play me like a drum when you can hardly keep a beat, Walk away, ‘cause it’s never that easy. Keep movin’ ‘cause you cannot play me. Just keep movin’, keep movin’…

Last Spring 04:20
You should have seen me drinking dark and stormies. I needed something to match my sentimental mood. I couldn't quit mopin' 'cause I couldn't quit hopin', that you might get yourself together and fall in love with me. Ain't it funny now how I can't feel a thing? I've got no good explanation for Last Spring. Yes, I was so smitten, many bad poems were written and coffee cup after cup never seemed to warm me up enough...Last Spring.
